Hi, I'm Senthil Nathan

I hold a Master's degree in Cyber Forensics and Information Security from Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) from Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College. My work spans both sides of security — defensive and offensive. On the defensive side, I work with security monitoring, log analysis, SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR concepts, and IAM to help detect and respond to threats. On the offensive side, I have hands-on experience with VAPT, ethical hacking fundamentals, and exploitation basics, using tools like Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Snort, Metasploit, Nikto, Wazuh, and Splunk. I'm comfortable working across TCP/IP networking, firewalls, VPNs, and Linux (Kali) systems, and I build tooling and automation using Python, PHP, C, and Bash. As part of my cybersecurity development experience, I designed and built a Hybrid Security Framework integrating Firewall and VPN technologies using the WireGuard protocol — featuring automated VPN configuration through a web-based interface, secure user authentication, and firewall rule management for network traffic control. This project reflects my ability to design secure network architectures, implement VPN solutions, automate firewall management, and strengthen system security through access control mechanisms.
